Jessie was home.
Jessie came home last weekend for the 1st time in 5 weeks!!! She has been spending the summer with her dad since she was 4 so you would think I would be used to it by now but I tell you I really miss her and I can't wait till she is home. the last weekend in July and she will be home for the school year and I am sooo excited.
We spent most of the weekend at the farm. Friday we stopped in on the way to the store and Jessie was offered to ride a racing horse and being as she has not been on one since she was a baby and then it was a pony she was a little scared to ride on this monstrous horse. So she politely declined. We went back to the farm on Saturday and she brushed Nooley and really loved him. She then had the chance to ride our Friend Jeff's horse Gidget and she jumped at the chance. She done so good I was so happy that she finally got to ride on one. I was so happy to see the smile on her face.
Paige sat on Nooley Saturday and that is the 1st time that she has got to sit on him. Poor Nooley he just sat real still and looked at me like what is that but he did not move. I am hoping that we will be able to ride Nooley soon so the girls can really enjoy him.

Our Trip to FL

Well we got a call on the 4th of July that my Father In law was in the hospital and was in really bad shape. For those of you who do not know my Father in law has liver Cancer and was told he would only live about 6 months and that was 2 years ago. I am amazing at how much will he has to live and can't believe that he pulled threw and shocked us all again.
We decided to take our trip and have a good time. Paige got to go to the Ocean and swim and she had a blast. She played with her Grammy a lot and Grammy became her Best Friend. It was so great seeing the two of them together and having a blast I think this is the most fun they have ever had and this trip I think Grammy and Paige got so close. My Mother in law is supposed to be moving to West Virginia later this year or next spring and I am so excited about it it will be so much nicer having her 450 miles away and not 950 miles away anymore.

We have a horse!!!
Well we have been talking about getting this horse for two months now and we finally agreed to take him this weekend. He has not been taken care of for a few months and he is super skinny so we have a lot of work to get him back up to health. Paige loves the horse and Jessie is going to be so thrilled to have him. She is still a little scared of them but she can't ride him till we get him back healthy anyway so I will be taking her and letting her learn with me how to take care of our 1st horse. I will post pitures as we fatten him up and you will be able to see how far he has came.

Poor Paige
Paige was in the house with me last week when everything happened. That night she cried that she wanted to ride in the van around the block because the house was "popping again" Now if she hears anything that pops she will cry and come running to someone freaking out. I had her come in the kitchen this weekend and help me make her some lunch and she cried that she was to scared and there was a fire in the kitchen and ran in her room to play. So last night I was standing outside the back door and She started crying for me I went in and she told me the house was popping again and she was scared to go in the kitchen I had to carry her threw the kitchen to take her outside and then she was fine. I don't know how long I will have to go threw this with her but I really hope that she is OK soon because this is just breaking my heart. I wish that I could do something to take her fear away.
Fighting Insurance
Well it has now been almost a week since the fire and things are still at a Stand still. The insurance lady came out and She said she was going to try to get with me and get me some money so I could get a Stove so I could start cooking again yet she did not call me and I am a little ticked about it. I finally broke down and bought me a toaster oven so that I can cook some things because I just can't keep eating out. I am hoping to get my letter from my Electrician today and get it faxed over to her tomorrow and maybe then she will get off her but and get me some money so I can get this hole in my roof and be able to cook. I have already bought a toaster, ate out 3 times, paid to have the tree removed, and ran all over town pricing the items and spent hours on the phone calling people and trying to get some things done. I really want to get my life back in order and move on I will be so glad to have this behind me.

House fire and damage
Well yesterday was an eventful day. We had a storm come threw and knocked down half of a 80 year old tree it fell on the power line pulled it threw the roof and caused a power serge threw the house causing a small fire. I am so glad that I was home and heard the pop I ran in the kitchen I got the fire out but we had some damage. The surge protector was on fire and everything plugged into it is gone. We have damage to... Dishwasher, TV, sat box, microwave, oven, central heat and air, roof, eve of house, and kitchen floor and mini blinds. I know in all it could have been worse.
I had Paige and Morgan ( girl next door) and both were so scared. Last night Paige heard the tree pop and got so scared she came running in the living room crying and asking to go for a ride. She was so scared that it took her a while to get to sleep last night. I know it really scared her and I feel so bad that she was here I know she is OK and things could have been so much worse but I am so sorry that my sweet baby had to go threw this and is now in fear of anything that Pops.
The insurance adjuster will be out Friday to look at the damage and I will not know anything till then. The tree is still across the back yard and it pops because it is only held up by the phone lines and the phone company is not coming out till today. I am not sure if they will move the tree or just the lines but it looks like we re going to have to do something with this huge tree our self. I have moped the kitchen with some strong pine cleaner to try to get some of the smoke smell out but my house smells so bad and is so hot.

Paige and the horse
JR and I have been looking at getting a horse. This poor horse has not been taking are of and needs some love. We are not sure if it is going to work out or not but in going there Paige has fallen in love with one of JR's friends horse she just loves him and is always asking about riding him and sitting on him when we go out there. I am not sure if the horse is going to work out or not but one way or the other Paige is loving going to the farm and riding the horse and seeing the pigs, and other animals.

About me
Hi My name is Sandy I have been married to JR for 4 1/2 years and I have two beautiful daughters Jessie age 13 by a previous relationship and Paige my little toddler who will be 3 in just a few weeks.
I went to the Dr in Feb and was told that I have type 2 Diabetes. I am currently taking Metrormin ER 2 times a day and Folbalin Plus Vitamins ( B 6 B 12 and Folic acid). I have really got a better grip on my sugar levels and have really brought my numbers down. I feel that I am doing so well for only knowing about this for a few months. I got my A1c down from a 9.6 to a 7.2!!!
Jessie spends the summer with her Dad and I miss her so much. We have been doing this for a long time so you would think that I would be used to it but with Paige missing Jessie so much now that She is old enough to ask for her it seems to make it harder on me every summer.
